I’ve been designing for 8 years. I started in architecture before moving into product design, service design and engineering.

I’ve always seen myself as a builder, eager to uncover how things work from the ground up.

I currently work at Deloitte in the internal technology and AI practice, where I lead the enterprise design system from design to code, used by product teams across the firm.

I value coherence, focus, making things better, and helping others to do it too.

Outside of work, you’ll find me brewing filter coffee, baking the occasional sourdough, taking photos, hiking, swimming, and enjoying music and dance.

Zettelkasten

An editable, git-backed Zettelkasten on this site, with a read-only MCP server over it.

My notes live in the repo as markdown, so an agent can commit to them the way I can, and saving in the editor publishes them a second later without a build.

The interesting part was deciding who each note is for. It has three states, a reader, my own chat, or any assistant connected to its MCP server, and two switches across them.

Ask Connor

A retrieval-grounded assistant in my own voice, built into this site.

A portfolio is a pile of answers nobody asked for, so this site has a chat that answers from the work already written on it. Ask about the page you are reading, or highlight a sentence and ask about that.

It retrieves the few matching sections rather than recalling, links the page it used, and I can take a conversation over from Slack.

timeshare

A proof of concept for finding a time across time zones, designed and built with Claude Code.

I built timeshare to find a meeting time with people in other time zones. Drag one block across everyone's day, then share the link.

There's no sign-up and nothing stored. The whole meeting lives in the URL.

Farnsworth House

An interactive WebGPU study of Edith Farnsworth House, with weather, seasons and a vintage lens.

I revisited a favourite house to test how far an agent could take a place, not just a page: a model built in Blender, then a landscape you can walk, in the browser.

The controls became one Braun-like remote, with a Touch Bar of views, a weather pad, and a lens with real focal lengths and apertures.

ReciMe

Crafting a web-based recipe discovery, organiser, and menu-planner app for a New York-based startup.

I worked with ReciMe to design a conceptual prototype of the ReciMe homepage to explore how the application would be adapted for web and desktop users.

This helped establish the start of the overall direction for how the mobile app could be migrated to a web experience. It also included the foundation of a design system suitable for bringing the UI to the web.

Designit

Service and product design consulting, design workflows and business development.

Internally at Designit, I've developed a number of internal tools to improve designer workflows, such as a Miro workshop design system and exercise library for our global teams.

I've also developed a platform for our team to host regular design hackathons with new clients. We call this platform Makeit. I led the overall strategy, design and development of the project.

Origin Zero

Product strategy and design for Australia's leading net-zero energy retailer.

I worked with Origin Zero across multiple design sprints to redesign and test energy usage portals that help energy brokers and business customers monitor, analyse, and manage their net-zero energy assets.

I was responsible for pulling together the final prototype, leading workshops, and designing many of the search features.

Heuristic evaluation and conversation design for key customer jobs for Australia's leading retail grocery chain.

I worked with Woolworths to conduct a heuristic evaluation of key customer journeys within their chatbot and IVR systems.

The analysis identified several opportunities to improve the experience and performance of common customer tasks.

Figma Plugin: Component Instance Looper

Figma plugin development to improve design workflows leveraging open source libraries like React.

I built a Figma plugin to help designers generate and populate component instances with text at scale.

The idea of this plugin came from attempting to shift sticky notes from a Miro board to a Figma component. Suitable for polishing workshop outputs or generating journey maps.

Raycast Extension: Pinch SVG

Building and contributing to open source through a pixel incrementing tool.

I built a tool to help designers create and copy pixel spacing increments using Raycast.

This helps designers build polished and consistent visual designs no matter what tool they use to craft.
